Working Across Companies

If your Attentive account has access to multiple companies, you can ask your AI application to check or change the company selected for your connection. Three tools support this:

• get_user — identifies the signed-in user and currently selected company.
• list_user_companies — finds companies your account can access, including by search.
• switch_company — changes the selected company for the session. Subsequent tool calls use that company.

For example:

Use the Attentive MCP to switch to [company name], confirm the selected company, and list the available tools.

Confirm the selected company before requesting changes. Available tools may change when you switch companies, depending on the features and access available for that company.
